When most people think of Friday the 13th they get a little superstitious, scared, or excited. When the 13th falls on a Friday in October, we are happy because that's our gramps' birthday. Today he turns 76. We think this odd day is so appropriate for my gramps--We're not saying he's odd, although he does have his quirks--he's so very special. He can crack a joke on any whim; teach you a lesson on any subject; make a hole-in-one during any golf game--well not any, but he's done it once; fix any household cabinet, drawer, or closet ; play you a tune on any piano; he can even name any Packer to play at Lambaugh Field in the last 50 years. He was a husband to our grams, a father to our mother, and a grandfather to us. We hope his next 76 years are filled with as much love, happy experiences, and Friday the 13th birthdays as the 76 that have passed.
